Freedom

To a musician, the act of listening to certain sounds/arrangements that resurface unwanted memories is one of the most painful and claustrophobic things one can endure, however; it must be done. One cannot let another being or tragedy take the precious gift of creating and appreciating music. A new approach should be taken. Listen to that same sound and rejuvenate it's beauty by assigning it to a much more enjoyable moment. Music should never be buried.

Life

I've been having really intense moments of missing Wendy more often than not. I miss her a lot. I miss her too much, sometimes.

Soul suck Rs

Some people suck the soul out of you... for no god-fucking given reason.

Vices were created to distract you with bigger problems.

Notes

Music is like a dog, feed it, train it, love it--It will never betray you.

Security blanket

People often make drastic artificial changes when they experience a life altering event. Clothes, shoes, hair, pounds--we're still the same beneath it all.

Not feeling it

I'm not sure that I want kids, but I wish I was sure about my decision now. If I was absolutely certain that I didn't want kids I would have a hysterectomy. Being a woman comes with its disadvantages, really painful, irritatingly consistent ones. I'm not going to lie and preach the whole "being a woman is a blessing" bs. Who are we kidding? Women are just being good sports. Sometimes I think life would have been much easier for me had I been born male. Who ever rolled the dice in the game of my life really f*cked up.

Golden Pencil

I use to resent the privileged for not having to struggle financially, I don't anymore. The greatest reward is accomplishing something and having a true sense of reality while doing so. We cannot dwell on those who don't understand or are out of touch with the rest of the world. I see it as an advantage. Don't sit and complain, suck it up and move on. We will win, there is no other option.
